Welcome to the Rotary Club of Woden Daybreak Pearce Community Centre Market held at the Pearce Community Centre, Collett Street, Pearce. Our community Market is held four times a year in conjunction with the Pearce Crafters Market. Our Rotary Market offers a range of arts and crafts, plants, food and non-alcoholic beverages, toys, cosmetics, primary produce, clothing including children’s wear, home wares, jewellery and accessories, books, quality bric-a-brac and the famous Rotary Sausage Sizzle!
Stalls providing community information and/or products representing a social enterprise may also be accepted. The overall goal is to provide customers with an interesting and diverse Market that has quality products.
As well as providing a social service to the local community, the Market is also a source of fund raising for our Rotary Club with proceeds supporting Rotary service projects across local, national, and international communities.
All Rotary Club members and their assistants at the Markets are volunteers. Dogs are most welcome. There are lots of dog owners in the Woden Valley!
Our Market is held outdoors in the Pearce Community Centre carpark area with 25 sites available with another 25 stalls supported by the Pearce Crafters Market inside. Our Rotary Market is an all-weather market, held rain or shine. You, as a stallholder, make the decision to attend on the day if bad weather is predicted.
Similar to other community markets the Club is unable to provide stallholder shelters, tables and general equipment however there is good access to each stall site. There is no electricity available on site, however you are able to bring a generator or gas cooking equipment.
Applying for the Markets does require your agreement to comply with the Stallholder Agreement and Conditions. Anchored coverage for your stall is essential.
